Noel is a wife, mother and a potter! She spent years working in child-focused nonprofit administration, including being a lifetime Girl Scout, where she gained the camp-name BusyB. Named by a group of girls, this moniker truly captures so much of who Noel is and what she loves; the love of nature, the non-stop personality and the personal perspective to take on challenges with enthusiasm. So, when it came to naming her deeply held passion for pottery, leaning back into her camp name seemed natural!
Noel has been known to lose 12 hours at the wheel. She explores old and new techniques to transform earth into beautiful, useful and unique pieces. Why pottery? Because it is an artistry where skill can be built upon endlessly, and creativity flows from that skill.
When not taking on a lump of clay, Noel can be found in her garden growing food, in the kitchen making or preserving that food, camping in the woods or off-roading in her jeep, gertrude ( which is greek for adored warrior).
Or, when she is being less of a Busy B, she is likely indulging in her guilty pleasure- following legal cases on youtube ( go law-nerds!).
