Commissioned Work

Busy B Pottery is available to create custom commissioned pieces.  These pieces take 3-5 weeks to complete, depending on the size and scope of the piece.  Here is a breakdown of the commissioned piece policy:

• Commissioned pieces require a $10 deposit.  This deposit will be applied to the final price.

• Busy B will provide a generalized quote based on the information collected.  However, should the piece require more than expected, the final price may be up to 25% more than originally quoted.

• Final price will not be collected until the customer is satisfied with the item(s).  This may require additional time to complete.  If, after 5 weeks, the customer is not satisfied with the piece(s) they can elect to either extend the time to make another piece, or they can elect to have the deposit returned to them.

• Busy B retains the right to sell any pieces that were made in the process of commissioned work at market and retains the right to the pieces as a form of their work, regardless of the source of inspiration.

• Commissioned work customers must pick up and pay for their pieces within 30 days of the piece(s) being completed.  If not paid or picked up within 30 days, Busy B Pottery retains the right to keep the deposit and sell the piece(s) at market.
